Business Benefits
Dramatically Reduced Costs
Without a doubt, Etude's principal benefit to its customers is its ability to process massive amounts of data, information and business transactions at a fraction of the industry’s current cost rates – in most cases more than 10 times less.
Business Process Management (BPM)
And finally, Etude was designed with the user in mind. Highly sophisticated, yet very simple to use, Etude contains Business Process Analysis and Management Tools, which allows qualified users ultimate flexiblity to define or redefine their business without the need for software programming.
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Development of Etude's functional areas followed a strict Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), considering that every application is actually decoupled from the others by means of well-structured service interfaces. This establishes the concept of modularity, where each application externally exposes its services by means of its contract; each service follows the SOA tenants:
• Presenting Explicit Boundaries
• Being Autonomous
• Exposing Data Contracts
An SOA design allows each individual module to be enhanced in varying stages of the development life-cycle, thereby removing dependencies on any particular application or application component thereof.
By determining a products basic requirements, its functionality and behavioral needs can be analyzed to ensure the product will operate and process as a stable and independent component within the overall system. Each function and new requirement gathered from participant banks can be either explicitly or implicitly prioritized according to the categories proposed by the Kano Model, and as assigned to any particular developmental increment within the Etude system.
