John Slater, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

John founded SlaterLabs™ in 2005 to continue a vision aimed at delivering higher quality Corebanking applications. Prior to forming SlaterLabs™, John created ICT (Integrated Core Technologies) which acquired – and forward developed – the IRIS banking application initially developed between IBM and a group of Spanish Savings Banks in the late 1990s. In 2001 John merged ICT with Temenos and established Temenos' Corebanking Division (TCB), acting as Worldwide Division GM until his departure in mid 2003. During the 1990s, John was a key player in IBM's Banking Solutions Business. During his IBM tenure he developed a strong reputation both as an entrepreneur and a builder of talented teams. An American Citizen, John has lived in Madrid since the 1980s.

Modesto Villajos, Vice Chairman

Modesto has over 15 years experience in international banking systems, having held a variety of management positions within the IT Divisions of both Citibank and Bank of America in the United Kingdom, Seer Technologies and Unisys as the European Director for the company's Enterprise NT Business Solutions Group. His previous position was held at Temenos, where he was responsible for TCB (Temenos Group AG Corebanking Division) Client Services Practice worldwide. Modesto holds a Bachelors Degree of Science from the University of Greenwich (London) and a Masters in International Business Management from the Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI, Madrid).

Jose Luis Mascuñan, Business Operations

Jose Luis has extensive experience throughout various segments of the Corebanking Industry, and has held Project Management and Project Executive roles for Corebanking Solutions Delivery worldwide. Jose-Luis began his career 10 years ago working for the consulting firm DMR in the company's IT Consultancy Division, implementing mission critical ISPs for British Telecom and Vodafone throughout the Iberian Region. Jose Luis joined Integrated Core Technologies (ICT) in 2000 as Director of IT in the company's Corebanking Division. Jose Luis holds a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from UCM (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) college, and is a Certified Project Manager from the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Richard Fraser, Senior Vice President Marketing & Sales

Richard joined SlaterLabs™ from Fidelity Information Systems and has over 25 years experience in banking technology. During his career Richard has concentrated on corebanking solutions and has had close involvement in over 25 major Corebanking replacement projects. During the 1990's he was Worldwide Corebanking Solutions Manager for IBM. Richard began his banking career as a Management Trainee, in 1978 with Northern Rock Building Society and completed the Chartered Institute of Bankers examinations in 1980, winning the National Prize for Marketing .

Pablo Martinez, Technology & Architecture

Pablo is Chief Technology Officer for SlaterLabs™ and has responsibility for leading the Architecture & Product Strategy department for The Ètude Programme. Pablo has over 11 years experience working in international banking solutions, with primary expertise in the area of Application Architectures. Other areas of Pablo's expertise include functional business analysis, solution proposals for customer implementations, technical architectures and topologies, and migration to new technologies. Pablo holds a Computer Engineering degree from the University of Granada (Spain).

Carmen Barragan, Product Development

Carmen has over 15 years experience in international banking systems. Carmen's career started in Bull and continued at Eritel within the Software Engineering Department. Carmen later joined Seer Technologies as Senior Consultant and started to work on International Banking projects developing mission critical Corebanking Solutions. After Seer, she joined Temenos, where she played two roles, first as Technical Office Manager and secondly as Development Director. Carmen holds a Physics Science Bachelor Degree from the “Universidad
Complutense de Madrid”. She specialised in Computing and holds a masters
degree in Banking and Insurance from ESAE.

Ricardo Izquierdo, Information Systems & Security

Ricardo has held various positions within the IT Divisions of different Companies over the last 8 years. Prior to joining Slaterlabs he held the position of Network & Security Director for the TCB Division with Temenos Group AG, Ricardo holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering from the Universidad Carlos III (Madrid) and holds a Masters Degree in Communications and Security from the OUC University of Barcelona..

Jose Vicente Gomez-Abad, Partners & Alliances

Jose-Vicente joined SlaterLabs™ from IBM and has over 30 years experience in the banking technology industry. During his career, Jose-Vicente has focused on the development of banking solutions for domestic and international banks, outsourcing, and solutions sales. Immediately prior to joining SlaterLabs™, Jose Vicente was the Business Development Manager for IBM's Global Services Application Management Services (AMS). José Vicente began his career as a Systems Engineer with IBM Spain in 1976, moving subsequently into such roles as Sales Representative, Marketing Manager and Outsourcing Engagement manager in IBM's Financial Services Sector.

Julian Muñoz, Professional Services

Julian has been professionally focused within the International Banking Systems consultancy field for over 15 years, gaining extensive experience in the integration of complex Corebanking implementation projects, in both domestic and international environments, where he has held a number of different responsibilities across the entire delivery process. Julian began his career in
Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), undertaking leadership roles within a number of banks integrating their Altamira (now Alnova) solution, and later joined the IBM Corebanking task force in the design, development and implementation of the IRIS Corebanking System in Spain and additional installations around the world. Julian has a Bachelors Degree in Business
Administration from the Universidad Complutense (Madrid), a Masters Degree in Financial Markets from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles, and PDD (Management Development Program) from IESE Business School in Madrid.
